The Friends of Conroe, Inc. is proud to present the Sixth Annual Conroe KidzFest to be held in downtown Conroe on Saturday, April 18, 2009.  

 Conroe KidzFest is a 100% sponsor driven event where admission and all activities are free to the public. Food and beverages are available for purchase.

It’s goal is three-fold:
1) Provide an interactive and exciting event that is open to all the children of our community, regardless of income.
2) Generate income for charities that 
expressly benefit the needs of children.
3) Create an event that will bring the public into downtown Conroe, utilizing the city facilities.

The 2009 Conroe KidzFest features four separate Activity Villages. Unlike fairs and carnivals, these Villages provide free fun, interactive and educational activities for the children.

 

        The 2009 Conroe KidzFest will be held from 10am-10:30pm on Saturday, April 18th and
Admission is free. KidzFest activities will begin at 10am concluding at 8pm. Beginning shortly
after the conclusion of the KidzFest activities, there will a family movie shown on the main stage.
To vote for one of the movies under consideration click on the movie you like and send the e-mail
when it opens. Your vote will be counted.

        So plan on sticking around after all the KidzFest activities are over and enjoy an "Old Fashion"
outdoor movie with us and your family. The 2009 Conroe KidzFest will be held near downtown Conroe
in Heritage Park and surrounding streets. To get to downtown Conroe from Interstate 45 take the
Highway 105 exit and drive east to Frazier St./Highway 75, then go south one block and look for all
